Reports to Head of Commercial Department, Accountable to Area Manager

 

Tax Free Salary + Car  + Housing     5½  / 6 day week

 

Candidates should be qualified to Diploma or BSc Degree level in a building related subject (or equivalent) and have 15-20 years experience working in the construction industry including high rise towers, hotels, hospitals and educational facilities.

 

A team player with a methodical and conscientious approach to their work.  Should be numerate and computer literate, especially spreadsheet packages.  Will be a successful leader with the skills to lead and motivate a team.

 

Duties will include:

· Responsibility for all commercial aspects and reporting on the financial status of contracts/projects on a monthly basis

· Develop and maintain professional relationship with the client

· Prepare business reports

· Review existing working practices and implement new processes where required

· Prepare and monitor cash flow

· Forecast turnover of work, develop and agree budgets

· Interface with the client and consultant team

· Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisations goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
